If you’re looking forward to blasting some red-eyed space Nazis before everybody else, then you might need to subscribe to PlayStation Plus. In a continuing effort to make its subscription service worth a damn, Sony has announced that ordinary plebians won’t be getting into the Killzone 3 beta.
To get beta access, you’ll need to subscribe to PS Plus, and then download an exclusive Killzone 3 theme that will appear on October 19. Of those who download the theme, the first 10,000 (5,000 North Americans, 5,000 Europeans) will get into the beta.
Beta members will be notified of their access on October 25. I think it will just be easier for all concerned, however, if Sony just gives me beta access. I certainly wouldn’t say no!
