Kiryu just keeps getting better
Sega has provided a new look at Yakuza 6 through the official website. Along with a pretty nice gallery comes information about the battle system and some general changes to the gameplay. The Yakuza fan in me is salivating with anticipation.
Things like enemies reacting naturally to your hits, the ability to actually avoid fights and some parkour elements all look to improve the overall experience and create a seamless world. If the demo trailer is anything to go by, this will truly be one of those “next-gen” experience developers love to tout.
I still have a soft spot for Yakuza 3 (it was the first one I played), but 5 is probably the best game on the PS3. It is still also free on PlayStation Plus until next Tuesday (September 6), so subscribers really have no reason to be passing on the game. If nothing else, you can punch a damn bear in the face with a burning fist.
That has to be worth something.
