Haruka has had her hands full in the years between Yakuza 5 and 6. According to a leak from Famitsu, it looks like Yakuza 6 will see Kiryu looking after Haruka’s son. Before you ask, he is not the father…or maybe that is just what they want us to believe!
My friend is constantly stuck on the idea that Haruka is actually in love with Kiryu, so I just know he’s going to yell, “I TOLD YOU SO!” I suppose age is just a number, but I’ve never gotten a romantic vibe from her actions. Kiryu is like a father figure and she is the daughter of the only woman he ever loved.
I’m honestly shocked I was able to write that on a gaming news site. Man, the stories sure are insane in Yakuza. Everyone do yourself a favor and buy one of the games. Yakuza 5 is a great place to start.
