East will connect with West through StarCraft II. Major League Gaming (MLG) and the Korean eSports Association are announcing a multi-year partnership that will connect these two hubs of the StarCraft world, allowing Korean tournament players to participate in MLG events.
“We are pleased to join with MLG to bring the best players in the world to the international stage,” said Lee Young Hee, President of KeSPA. “Together, KeSPA and MLG are building the global future of our sport.”
The first event to have KeSPA players participate will be a StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty Expo Tournament at the MLG Spring Championship on June 9. The roster of players will be listed in the coming weeks.
