“The great grey steed Windfola made little of the burden”
We’re starting to really get into the weeds when it comes to stable locations in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, as the Lakeside Stable is what I’d call “off the beaten path.” Here’s where to find it, which may or may not happen after you’ve finished the game.
Where to find the Lakeside Stable
It’s a jungle out there! The Lakeside Stable can be located on the far, far south end of Hyrule, in the Faron region. Although this particular stable is obfuscated a bit by myriad trees, look for the telltale smoke stack!
The exact location of the Lakeside Stable can be found at coordinates 1555, -3538, 0061 and on the above map.
How to get to the Lakeside Stable
So this one is going to be a bit of a trek, but Skyview Towers can cut your travel time down a bit.
Go to Lookout Landing in Central Hyrule, and head south until you get to the Popla Foothills Tower. Shoot out of it and continue south: depending on your stamina, you may need to hoof it a bit. The closest tower is technically the Rabella Wetlands Skyview Tower, but if you don’t have it, you can make some headway from the aforementioned Popla Foothills Skyview Tower, which is closer to Central Hyrule.
The Joju-u-u Shrine is located to the south on a cliffside: don’t forget to pick this checkpoint/fast travel spot up! The Lakeside Stable is a pain to go back to on foot.
