ZIP UP YOUR GOD DANG COAT
The Microsoft-published, badly named — unless we’re talking dough or erections, let’s cool it on all the rising — Rise of the Tomb Raider is looking far more frigid in these new screenshots than it did at reveal (above).
My mind jumped from the reboot following in Uncharted 2‘s snow tracks, to my recent stint in a not-so-cold Stockholm, to the movie Vertical Limit, which I’ve weirdly watched a lot. Snow will actually play some practical parts in the game; for example, animals leave tracks in the snow that disappear over time.
If Lara is that damned cold, though, why doesn’t she zip up her dang jacket instead of showing off her infinity scarf? This is actually bugging me. Her jacket is zipped halfway down in all the stills, which looks much more fashionable and accentuates her bust, but is also stupid. It is freezing out.
