Lightning appears in yet another Final Fantasy game

Have you had enough Lightning yet? No one can, according to Square Enix, and she’ll be representing Final Fantasy XIII in the arcade version of Dissidia, set to debut this week in Japan. As a note, she was already in Dissidia 012, the prequel/remake of the original (which was probably just an excuse to make a new game with Lightning in it).

All joking aside, I really dislike Lightning’s role in XIII, but she gets more tolerable in Lightning Returns. I actually don’t even mind her that much, but the constant need for Square Enix to remind us that she’s the greatest hero ever is what really annoys me.
