This thing will never die
The MMO genre is not what it used to be. That doesn’t mean, though, that there still aren’t thousands of players that enjoy the endless farming and miles of endless walking that these games provide. With all the other options at our fingertips, who wouldn’t want to slowly grind their life away?
Lineage II, which will celebrate it’s 11th anniversary in the North America region this April, refuses to give up the fight as NCSOFT has announced their latest expansion for the game titled Infinite Odyssey.
Infinite seems pretty apt considering L2 will most likely live on for infinity. Along with new hunting zones and a new raid boss, the expansion will include the introduction of a new race called the Ertheia.
For those that are really into it, there is even a Name that Skill contest currently going on that will allow players to name five new high-end skills. The contest is running until March 31 and winners will be announced on April 7.
