Gaming gems for $10 or less, every Monday on Mash Tactics
[Mash Tactics airs Monday through Friday at 4p.m. Pacific on Dtoid.TV. Watch Rick ‘King Foom’ Olson play a variety of games, each day with its own theme. With a heavy focus on community and viewer interaction, you can be as much a part of the show as anything else.]
You might remember that when I first started at the live channel, each day of the week had a certain theme to it, which people seemed to like quite a bit, and I had fun putting together. Well, things kind of fell apart there for a while, but in an effort to make each day feel like its own unique show, I’m bringing them back. This doesn’t mean that I’m always bound to theme days however, as big new releases, special events, and interviews will still take priority, but this format gives me some framework to plan around, and will hopefully be something viewers look forward to.
To start, each and every Monday on Mash Tactics I’ll be diving into bargain bins, and scouring the interwebs to bring you the finest in budget gaming. Be the games old or new, the mission is to stay under ten dollars, and to let you guys know where and how you can get it for that price should you be interested. Tonight I’ll be showcasing Dark Messiah of Might and Magic: Elements. I used to absolutely LOVE this game, and in my opinion I think it still stands out as one of the best examples of first-person melee combat around. If you missed out on this adventure when it was released, come by the show, check it out, then go buy it for dirt cheap!
QotD: What clever theme name can you think of for these ‘bargain bin’ Mondays?
