Blades, boulders, and bombs, what could be better than that?
[Mash Tactics airs Monday through Friday at 4p.m. Pacific on Dtoid.TV. Watch Rick ‘King Foom’ Olson play a variety of games, each day with its own theme. With a heavy focus on community and viewer interaction, you can be as much a part of the show as anything else.]
Back in my day, we used to protect our homes however we wanted to. Be it with spiked pits, boiling oil, crushing boulders, or a good old-fashioned giant alligator sitting by the front door. We did what we could do to protect what was ours, and it worked. Then everyone had get all super sensitive about human rights, or some silly jazz like that, leaving very few effective options. The most popular option these days being some sort of electronic doodad that at most, might chirp would-be robbers into an annoyed retreat as they search for a quieter, far less irritating heist.
If you’re sick of all that sissy nonsense, and want some tips on how to make your home ‘old-school’ safe again, be sure to watch Mash Tactics tonight to see exactly how it’s done. We’ll be taking notes from the classic game Trapt, as we teach a bunch of home invading chumps a lesson with a sweet selection of gadgets and traps. I can only imagine that they’re going to have a hell of a time getting away with my collection of Jim Nabors albums and precious moments figurines, when they all have a volley of arrows stuck in their thieving asses!
