Why doesn’t every game have explosive parachuting squirrels?
[Mash Tactics airs Monday through Friday at 4p.m. Pacific on Dtoid.TV. Watch King Foom play a variety of games, each day with its own theme. With a heavy focus on community and viewer interaction, you can be as much a part of the show as anything else.]
This evening on Mash Tactics we’ll be jumping into the uniquely bizarre title, Zeno Clash. If you’ve never seen or heard about this game before, you’re in for quite a ride. Trying to explain what Zeno Clash is all about is like trying to explain the color green to a blind person, so I’ll just say that it’s a first-person brawler, set in a surreal landscape full of twisted entities for you punch and mangle as you see fit. Bottom line, you need to come see it for yourself, as mere words wont do it justice no matter how hard I try.
The game is roughly four hours on the easiest difficultly level, so plan on a full playthrough tonight as I prepare to jump into Zeno Clash II later this year. If you ever wanted to experience what an acid trip feels like, without actually having to take any sort of drug at all, do yourself a favor and get over to Dtoid.TV tonight for what might just be the strangest, yet oddly mesmerizing game you’ll see all year.
