Naughty Dog’s not intent on giving Nathan Drake any rest before his final chapter. Sony storefront leaks indicate that the developer is holding another beta for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, and it’s happening this weekend.
This second beta event seems to be taking place from March 4 through March 6. It’s meant to test the multiplayer component of the game, and will feature three maps in the Team Deathmatch mode. Unlike the first beta, this is open to everyone with a PlayStation 4 and Internet access.
While Sony has been quick to take down any sign of this beta’s existence, it has been documented and memorialized on NeoGAF. A page for the event was found on storefronts across different regions, but all of them in Europe. Still, it’s probably likely that the beta would be a global event.
We’ll have to wait until Sony officially confirms this weekend’s beta. Given the short timeline, it can’t be too far from now. After that, it’s a mere seven weeks until we learn what Naughty Dog has in store for Drake.
