Madfinger Games will patch Gray Zone Warfare grenade exploit that has been plaguing players at home base

The call is coming from inside the house!

Kicking back at home base is one of the only comforts of Gray Zone Warfarewhere you can temporarily put your mind at ease. Unfortunately, several players disrupt the peace through a pesky grenade exploit, stealing gear from their own teammates. The issue will, thankfully, be resolved soon now that it’s on Madfinger Games’ radar.

The exploit unfolds in a rather cunning manner. It begins when a fellow player from your faction hurls a grenade at you and then abruptly exits the game. This action, while they are no longer in the server, inflicts fatal damage to your character. To add insult to injury, another player, presumably on lookout duty, swoops in to loot your gear.

While this exploit has been a source of frustration and betrayal, the community’s vigilance has not gone unnoticed. Madfinger Games has caught wind of the issue, indicating that it will be “resolved soon.”

It’s unclear how the team will handle this exploit. Some players have suggested the team put a dud grenade instead while at home base. That way, it won’t result in your demise. But, in the meantime, users have found a temporary solution where you can select the ‘Safely End Deployment’ button to save your gear.

Since its launch, Madfinger Games has released a few hotfixes to resolve issues like the disappearing head. However, the game has yet to have a major update with its official Patch 1. The grenade exploit could be fixed through this patch, but there isn’t an exact timeframe on the matter.

For now, you may just want to keep a watchful eye on your own teammates. You never know when you might get stabbed in the back.
