Man steals Wi-Fi to play Halo in a library

The above picture shows a genius. A criminal mastermind so brilliant it’s amazing that he was ever caught. Sitting in a library, with headphones on, a mysterious big bag under his desk, and a newspaper obscuring his hands, he just blends into the crowd, doesn’t he? You’d never guess he’d brought an Xbox into the building so he could steal Wi-Fi and play Halo. Oh wait, yes you would!

This man gets points for sheer audacity. He brought a monitor, Xbox, wireless router, external hard-drive and headset into the New York Library so that he could play his videogames like a cheeky bugger. For all his effort and gall, however, it didn’t take long before he was rumbled. Perhaps because he was actually screaming down his headset.

“He proceeded to play Quake/Halo/Call of Duty,” says the chap who took the above photo. “Some nerd fighter game while yelling out instructions to his ‘teammates.'”

Apparently, it took him twenty minutes to set the equipment and game up. It took two minutes for him to be caught and kicked out. Fail.
