A Seattle man that killed and raped (in that order) a developmentally disabled teenager claims he coped with the guilt of what he’d done by playing Dungeons & Dragons Online.
18-year-old Tyler Wolfegang Savage confessed to police that he killed and raped 16-year-old Kimberly “Kimmie” Daily and then used D&D Online to forget what he’d done. Savage had left Daily’s naked body in a thicket with her bicycle thrown on top of her.
Despite his confession, Savage is pleading not guilty to first-degree murder, a plea that likely won’t work. If found guilty, he may very well face the death penalty for what he’s done. He has not yet given a reason as to why he did what he did.
At the very least, Dungeons & Dragons Online has one hell of a potential marketing campaign up its sleeve.
