There’s no denying that the PlayStation 3 is having one of its best weeks since launch, enjoying some good press while doubtless revelling in the bad press of its rival machine. Despite this, there are still some wishing to retain their skepticism, such as Midway CEO David Zucker who recently shared his concerns over the console’s sales.
“We would not be the only publisher to tell you that we’re a little concerned about the take-up of the PS3,” Zucker stated before talking about the recent $100 price drop on Sony’s 60GB model. “Anytime you get a hundred dollar price on hardware it will improve sales. The question is, is it enough? Will there be more?” After some of the issues Sony has had with third parties, this is a gentle nudge rather than an outright slap to the face, but obviously developers still have their issues.
