Some two years after its original release, Nintendo’s colourful fighting game ARMS has drawn the curtains on its final Crash Party Bash. Taking place to celebrate the Switch release’s second anniversary, the ongoing series of events have seen the spring-loaded roster face off to ultimately crown the fighter’s best and brightest.

Once the war of lengthy appendages was over, “Ramen Bomber” Min Min took a narrow 53% victory over the lightning fast Ninjara. Thus, Min Min has captured the title of “best” ARMS fighter. Hopefully she’ll get a certificate that she can proudly display on the walls of her family’s restaurant, the Mintendo Noodle House.

The end of this final Crash Party Bash essentially puts ARMS to rest as a supported title. Of course, players can continue to enjoy the game, but the likelihood of any further updates or events is slim-to-none. A solid arena fighter, ARMS struggled to find the same kind of success as the similarly styled shooter Splatoon, with an underwhelming launch and a tentative approach to marketing from The Big N. Still, the game was not a flop, having shifted some two million copies. As to whether Nintendo would commit to a sequel, it seems highly unlikely, frankly, but never say never.

But for now, the spotlight is on Min Min. That’s using the old noodle.
