Even if Notch thinks Facebook is creepy
Today at Oculus Connect 2 in Los Angeles, company founder and Rift inventor Palmer Luckey announced Minecraft‘s Windows 10 Edition will support the Oculus Rift virtual reality headset.
The move represents an about face for Mojang, which cancelled a deal to bring a version of its game to Oculus last year following the company’s acquisition at the hands of Facebook last year:
We were in talks about maybe bringing a version of Minecraft to Oculus. I just cancelled that deal. Facebook creeps me out.

While Facebook may still creep Minecraft designer Markus “Notch” Persson out, the man no longer has a say in the matter after selling his studio to Microsoft for a reported $2.5 billion.
No release information was revealed, as there’s still no word on when the Rift will be available.
