If you’ve actively participated in Monopoly GO’s banner events for the past few months, you may notice this version of Cloud Cruisin’ differs greatly from its May and February counterparts. Fortunately, this means you can pick up plenty of free dice, more stickers than usual, and cash during it for your Landmark upgrades. However, since there are no ongoing Partners events, digging minigames, or cosmetic milestone tiers during its initial beginning, you’d mainly use this to gather extra resources in anticipation of other major events.
How to score points in the Monopoly GO Cloud Cruisin’ event
Scoring points during Monopoly GO’s Cloud Cruisin’ event requires landing on tax and utility. Utility spots give you two points, while tax tiles give you three points. Both directly scale with your dice multiplier, making it worthwhile to raise your multipliers to maximize your points.
Watching your dice multiplier is important, especially if you have multiple tiles in quick succession like the ones near Go. If you’re lucky, you can land on several tiles within a few rolls, skyrocketing your points if you have enough dice or power-ups like High Roller active. Otherwise, if you’re only one or two spaces away from the next tile or over ten spots away, your odds of landing on it immediately are low.
