Monopoly GO releases massive dice gift to apologize for Partner event mishaps

Now’s your chance to make up for lost time.

Monopoly GO Partners event bug dice compensation

Monopoly GO’s Partners events are a place for you and other players to work together, gather tokens, and use these to collect points toward milestones. While in the past, these events have been a great way to collect thousands of dice, several cosmetics, and even rare wild stickers, the most recent Parade Partners has experienced a few mishaps with tracking points.

Fortunately, Scopely has been proactive in updating the community on progress with fixing the issue and providing compensation for it, with the most recent gift offering a whopping 500 dice as an apology.

The first update regarding the Parade Partners point tracking bug came on April 28 through social media platforms such as Facebook and Discord. Scopely publicly announced they were aware of the bug and planned on fixing it, with a reward of dice and some Partners tokens released as compensation.

Since then, on April 29, Scopely released a follow-up announcement, elaborating on the issue and its cause. According to the message, it results from “technical adjustments that were intended to improve [the] partner event, but inadvertently resulted in this new issue.” The exact adjustments are unknown, but the frequency of landing on high-value points spots is a possible change.

Scopely’s April 29 announcement led to a 500-dice compensation gift that every participating player received as an apology for the ongoing issue. As of now, Scopely released this dice prize two days before the event’s end, giving you some time to rack up more tokens and claim more points toward any unaffected Parade Partners spaces. The announcement also highlights that the issue was fixed on Friday but that they couldn’t correct or roll back in fear of potential adverse effects.

Nonetheless, although the issues may lead some to be unable to complete the event, the compensation rewards allow another chance to progress through ongoing tournaments and banner events in hopes of collecting more tokens.
