Finally, play the game remotely on your Wii U, and across the world!
When Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate launched, gamers were perplexed as to why remote play and cross-regional play were not included in the Wii U version. Sadly, those major game-changers were not a part of the retail product — until late last night that is, when Capcom applied a patch to introduce both.
All you need to do is boot up or reset your console, apply the update, and have at it! To enable remote play, go to the options menu, then game settings, and then the “Type 2” option. Regional play will work naturally, and will help you find games quicker with entire regions added to your queue.
Personally, I’ve been keeping my Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate play to a minimum, as I catch up with everything else and patiently wait for Monster Hunter 4. But everyone else seems to be enjoying it, and remote play is probably the most requested addition I’ve seen yet.
