Not too many people wrote a musing last month. In fact, almost no one did. I’m going to blame it on a combination of the holidays, and the topic being too cheery — I think we get the most participation when I give you something to complain about. So, this month, I’m doing just that.
The start of 2011 gives us an opportunity to look back at 2010 and remember everything we didn’t like about it. Forget about all the awesome games that came out this year — we’re going to sit around and talk about how bad we thought it was instead. Your assignment for January is to talk about your biggest disappointment, gaming-wise, of the last year. You can write about anything that didn’t live up to your standards or expectations, as long as it happened in 2010 and was related to videogames in some way.
To participate, just click “Post A Blog” up there in the upper right of the screen, title your post “2010 Sucked: WhateverYourTitleIs”, make sure you pick the “Monthly Musing” from the tag list (this is important!), write it up, and set it live. If your article is particularly well-written or sparks interesting discussion, we’ll stick it up on the front page. Don’t forget to read the the guidelines. A good blog will get promoted regardless, but following all these rules will really help me out, and help get your blogs to the front page faster.
