Every so often Bandai Namco drops hints as to the timeline of Tekken 7 on consoles. I mean, we know it’s happening, but we don’t have a window or full confirmation yet. Antoher hint dropped at Madrid Games Week, where marketing director David Fraile noted that it will be launching in 2016.
There’s speculation as to whether or not this deals with an EU arcade rollout or the console edition, but we’ve reached out for comment either way. During my visit to Japan I noticed that the Tekken 7 machines had a few combatants, but all of the arcades I went to were still dominated by Street Fighter IV and Guilty Gear Xrd.
