In the first two weeks that the demo for Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit was available, more than two million people played it on consoles. That makes it the fastest downloaded NFS demo ever. It all adds up to 54 million miles of road raced, or 20 million cop busts. Also, gamers have posted over 700,000 posts to the Speed Wall.
All of this is a lot of playing for a game that hasn’t even been released yet. That happens next week, for all of the consoles.
Those that have played it — the game reviewers — love it. It is already the highest rated Need for Speed game on Metacritic. We just gave the racer our Editor’s Choice award.
