Mortal Kombat came out on the PlayStation Vita at the beginning of the month. It added new mini games such as “Test Your Slice” and “Test Your Balance”. They were presented through the Bonus Challenge Tower, which ended up being my favorite part of the game simply because of the new mini games. NetherRealm Studios seems to have taken notice, and has released a video to help you in your pursuit to beat all the levels in each new mode.
For “Test Your Slice”, they point out what blowing up the bombs do and how to look out for positive and negative modifiers. For “Test Your Balance”, they hint that if you fall into each of the death pits, you unlock “something special.” I actually had no idea that was thing, so now I need to go check that out for myself. Even if the stuff in the video was blatantly obvious, it at least showed off that the new modes NetherRealm added to the Vita version weren’t an afterthought.
