All four playable characters poring over some loot

A new batch of Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel screenshots have dropped, and they show off some of the more recently announced features. Wilhelm’s Surveyor bots Wolf and Saint can be seen battling a new type of creature that looks like a cross between a skag and a crystalisk. Wilhelm himself is shown punching out an enemy’s helmet with his robot arm, which he acquires over the course of the game as one of his upgrades. He can also be seen riding a new vehicle: some type of hover bike.

One of the positives of these screens in general is that they show at least a little bit of environment diversity, exhibiting the inside of a Hyperion facility and a couple shots of Pandora from its moon. The big, purple gash is probably near the Eridium Blight as seen in Borderlands 2. It is nice to finally have a set of screens that is not just completely blue.

Otherwise, we have a screen showing all four of the playable characters, but we still have not learned much about Claptrap the Fragtrap or Nisha the Lawbringer. I’m still holding out hope that Nisha has a Gunzerker-esque dual wielding capability, as was hinted in the most recent trailer.
