Plus Cities in Motion 2, Sang-Froid, and Evoland
Happy deceit and prank day! It’s April Fools, so you might not feel like you trust can these new releases, I might just be making them up and laughing at you. But fret not. I’m a traditionalist, and that means April Fools ends at 12pm, which it is already well past.
It’s a slightly more subdued week, but there are still some interesting titles launching. Defiance comes out tomorrow, and it sounds like quite the grand experiment. It’s an open-world, online shooter, but the twist is that it what happens in the game will affect Syfy’s TV show of the same name, beginning on the 15th.
Along with this, we’ve got a few other games to look forward to this week. Cities in Motion 2 drops, and it’s looking pretty good, adding more city management than the previous instalment; Ninja Gaiden 3 Razor’s Edge moves to more consoles; Sang-Froid pits man against werewolves, and it’s about time we dealt with that hairy menace once and for all; and Evoland explores the evolution of the action-adventure genre.
All this and more drops this week. What’s floating your boat?
