So, we’ve seen a lot of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance in the past. That’s why these new screenshots Konami sent our way come as a surprise (not the good kind, either). It’s like waking up Christmas morning and opening up a giant present that ends up being a box full of underwear and socks. This was that kind of surprise.
These screen grabs are full of muddy textures, an enemy clipping through a box, suspiciously boring environments, and a couple things we’ve seen a few times now. We know how awesome Revengeance looks. I mean, what happened here, Konami? There had to be some sort of mix-up, because these just can’t be the images that were intended to be released.
I can’t be the only one to notice this, right?
