As per Game Informer‘s style, its set to reveal a new game on December 6, and it just be Crystal Dynamic’s next Tomb Raider title.
The reveal is teased in the latest issue of the magazine, with a two page spread depicting the image of a crashed sea vessel washed up on the shores of an island. The words “A Survivor is Born” are printed across the pages, and there’s even a website to support the hype.
Back in July of 2009, concept art and details of a new Tomb Raider title appeared online. The plot involved a young, treasure hunting adventurer Lara Croft stranded on a mysterious Japanese island after a storm destroyed her research vessel. Budding Veronica Mars’ of the Internet have also noted that the last two digits of the teaser website’s Google Analytics account number match those of a number of Square Enix/Eidos websites.
December 6 isn’t that far off, so we’ll know for sure soon enough.
