The new Wii model coming to Europe later this year — the one that has dropped GameCube support and sits horizontally — isn’t actually smaller than our current Wii systems.
According to Official Nintendo Magazine, the console is “157mm tall, 44mm wide and its length is 215.4 mm.” I’m sorry if this information just pushed something relevant or useful out of your memory.
The bundle includes one Wii MotionPlus Remote, Wii Sports, and Wii Party. I suppose at this point, you’ve had plenty of time to get a normal Wii with GameCube compatibility. Nintendo’s got to make money somewhere.
