Sound off if you’ve had issues with your order
[Update: As you can see from our comments section below, this has been a messy issue. It got nasty when word got out that one buyer got over 200 copies and is now selling them on eBay. Disgusting. Thanks to our readers for informing us of this Facebook support group for this issue.]
These past few days, several of our readers let us know that they’re having concerns with their order of the highly coveted special edition of Namco Bandai RPG Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch. Messages on issues ranging from credit card charging issues to to canceled orders have hit our inbox and tips lines.
One of the main issues is that those that worked to get a pre-order in for the Wizard’s Edition were later hit with cancelation emails and offered a $20 coupon for their troubles. Or worse, they’re not sure of the status of their order at all. This thread on GameFAQs contains several people having similar issues with their orders and customer service. Namco Bandai‘s own forums are also ablaze with others having the same problem.
The problem seems to lie specifically with orders direct from Namco Bandai (Digital River). Customers are being told that they have no idea if or when their orders will be shipped, and that orders cannot be canceled. Second run orderers are freaking out wondering if they’re getting a copy or not. A system error could be at fault.

If you’re stuck along with these others, this guide by Namco Bandai forum member Guacamole may help. Hang in there.
