I only needed to see this little French gaming site video clip to be all-in on the 3DS XL. I was pretty close already, though, as I’ve daydreamed of bigger screens since launch day. But this video took me over the top. It looks so nice!
Puissance Nintendo went hands-on with the new unit, and they had some nice things to say about it. Some key points, nabbed from a translation over at NeoGAF, say that the system has a better viewing angle, better (more natural) 3D, a better grip and hand feel, and a lighter weight than initially expected. I’m also happy to hear that 2D looks better than the standard 3DS, and that the overall image quality is better. In a word, better.
