Last week, we heard of a rumored promotion that would net you a free copy of Pokemon X or Y if you hapened to buy a 2DS/3DS and one of six applicable games (Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Yoshi’s New Island, LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins, Super Mario 3D Land, Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, or Mario Kart 7)
Here’s how you get your game — you need to be in North America, have a Club Nintendo account, and register everything from March 1st (not before) until March 31st. Then login to Club Nintendo, look at your “to-do” list, and claim your code before April 30th.
