Nintendo Download: Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy

The cloud version

Guardians of the Galaxy is almost a go, and it’s going to dominate this fairly low-key week head. As is customary for some AAA developers desperate to get their big releases on the heavily-circulated Switch, this is going to be a “cloud version” of the game, so keep that in mind. Guardians is out on October 26.

The other big release this week is Skul: The Hero Slayer, which boasts “100 playable characters” in a rogue-lite format. And that’s pretty much it! There’s the Crysis Remastered Trilogy making a splash on Switch, a Peppa Pig game, and a few other offerings. Overall it’s a little less than usual, which is perfectly fine. The Switch eShop needs to chill more often.
