When Nintendo Labo was announced, my main concern was how costly replacement parts were going to be. While I would be pretty careful with anything I’m using, kids aren’t known for their restraint. Imagine dropping $80 on that robot kit and your kid breaks the damn thing in a day. That is likely to be a common scenario.
Thankfully, individual kits will be available for your specific needs and the prices aren’t crazy! I mean, I suppose they are a little big expensive for what is cardboard, but getting an entire replacement robot will only set you back around $62. Most individual pieces are under $10, though, so your kids can be a little rough with Labo and you won’t need to worry.
