Nintendo’s newest Humble Bundle isn’t as region-restricted as the first

3DS games are expensive normally!

Months ago, Nintendo and Humble teamed up for a bundle that included various 3DS and Wii U games. It was a cool bundle… if you were in North America. The rest of us had to just sit and watch because it was annoyingly region locked.

Well, Nintendo’s now back on Humble with the Humble Friends of Nintendo Bundle, and this time, more countries can snag some cheap games too. Yay!

The lowest tier contains Retro City Rampage: DX for the 3DS, Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse for 3DS and Wii U, and Affordable Space Adventures for the Wii U.

Beat the average and you’ll also get a Retro City Rampage 3DS theme, Rhythm Thief & the Emperor’s Treasure for 3DS, Citizens of Earth for 3DS or Wii U (you have to choose which version you want), Freedom Planet for Wii U, and a few more currently unannounced games.

What’s more, if you pay $13 or more you’ll get Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition for 3DS and everybody’s favourite game, Darksiders II for Wii U.

There’s an important thing to note here: while all the regions listed in Humble’s FAQ can buy the bundle, the codes you get are region-locked. American users won’t be able to give codes to European or Japanese players, for example.

Anyway, time for me to go stock up on some 3DS games. I’ve wanted Rhythm Thief for a while.
