Formerly the Nintendo World Store
After a month-long renovation, Nintendo’s flagship store in Rockefeller Center is open to the public again with a fresh look and a new name. It’s now simply Nintendo NY. Mario and Luigi ditched the princesses to help with the ribbon-cutting ceremony earlier this morning.
We’ll undoubtedly have someone on staff make the trip out to stock up on plush toys (Chris? Holmes? Patrick?), but for now, we can get a sense of the store from these opening-day pictures. It’s not the same as being there in person, I know, but at least we’re well-rested.
