Torn Banner Studios, the team behind Chivalry 2, announced the launch of No More Room in Hell 2 during The Game Awards’ Summer Game Fest 2024, a sequel to its 2011 Source mod. Originating from a Half-Life 2 mod, the original No More Room in Hell became its own game in 2011, and the sequel is arriving this Halloween.
No More Room in Hell 2 is an eight-player co-op horror game featuring permadeath mechanics, where you’ll enter its world and search for your friends while surviving in its brutal environment. As you search for resources and your friends, you’ll constantly fight hordes of zombies on your heels to end your run. Once they take you out, your character’s death is permanent, at least until the round’s end.
As highlighted during the Summer Game Fest, No More Room in Hell 2 will launch on PC in Early Access on Halloween 2024 via Steam and the Epic Games storefront. It’s unknown how long it’ll stay in Early Access; we’ll likely find more information about this after its initial release later this year.
