What to expect from One Piece Chapter 1113
Before reading ahead, make sure to catch up on Chapter 1112 if you aren’t caught up yet. Because although there aren’t any officially confirmed spoilers, it’s not hard to put the puzzle pieces together, based on how the story left everyone hanging.
The most recent chapter ended with one of the Five Elders finding the transponder snail broadcasting Dr. Vegapunk’s impending announcement to the world. It would be safe to assume that the elder will destroy the transponder snail before it has a chance to relay the message, but I don’t think that will happen.
Earlier in the chapter, Stussy mentions staying behind to carry out the “final job.” Oda highlights those two words, indicating she has a plan. Just like when Bon Clay stayed behind so Luffy could escape Impel Down, it’s up to her to remove the barrier so the Straw Hat Crew can flee Egghead Island. But I also believe that part of that final mission is protecting the transponder snail. If it’s not Stussy, someone is bound to stop the elder, but there aren’t many options left in what’s become a scattered battlefield.
Elsewhere, it’s becoming clear that the Strawhats are on the verge of escaping the island. Luffy has no problem fighting off every foe in his path, but Bonney and Franky have one more obstacle in their way. The Egghead Island Arc looks to be nearing its final conclusion, in the next chapter or soon after.
