We might not yet have an official release date for anime fighter One-Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows, but that hasn’t stopped publisher Bandai Namco from announcing a closed beta weekend for the PS4 and Xbox One platforms, set to take place at the dawn of November.

Interested parties are required to sign up for an account over at the official Bandai Namco website. Registered players should then return to the site on October 30, where beta codes will go up for grabs on a “first come, first served” basis. These lucky players will then be able to try out the crazy-looking fighter, adapted from the popular manga and anime series. The beta will be set live in short bursts over the weekend of November 1-3.

Fighters based on anime series have been a mixed bag recently. Dragon Ball FighterZ is one of this generation’s best fighting games. Jump Force, not so much. Given the mystery surrounding One-Punch Man‘s release date, we might still have a bit of a wait before we see where Saitama and friends fall on the scale.

One-Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows launches in 2020 for PS4, PC and Xbox One.
