Stats show that the COR-45 has the fastest time-to-kill among short-range meta weapons, but players aren’t maximizing the pistol’s potential on PC if they aren’t using an underrated setting.
In search of the best weapon for short-range engagements after the Season 3 Reloaded update, IceManIsaac stumbled across the COR-45. According to data from TrueGameData, the COR-45 has a significantly faster TTK than other popular weapons, at 525 milliseconds from zero meters away.
For comparison, the Holger 26 comes in at 539, and MCW is at 600. With the XRK Lightning Fire trigger action and XRK IP-V2 conversion kits equipped that TTK improves to 400. However, that figure comes with a catch, as the weapon becomes semi-auto with the conversion, meaning players won’t be able to reach that top speed because it’s not possible for a person to fire a weapon that fast, pressing as fast as they can.
IceManIsaac showed it’s possible to shoot 12-and-a-half times per second with the lightning fire trigger, but the average person can only shoot eight to 10 times per second. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to improve that delay even more.
- Go into mouse settings
- Scroll down to calibration
- In the drop-down menu under mouse calibration, set mouse wheel delay to 0
With the mouse wheel delay removed, firing with the mouse wheel will feel like using a fully automatic weapon. As a result, the COR-45 will have one of the best TTK speeds in Warzone and shred through enemies almost immediately.
