This new Overlord: Fellowship of Evil trailer highlights some of the co-operative elements of the game, as well as the trolly “kill each other” mechanics similar to Magicka.
Yes, it’s still a Gauntlet-like romp, and anything shown so far hasn’t really done a great job to differentiate itself within the genre. Codemasters notes that it will be just as fun solo as with a team, but we’ll have to wait and see.
It will release later this year on PC, followed by TBA dates for PS4 and Xbox One.
