If you’ve spent any amount of time playing Palworld, you’ll have experienced hunger. Not just for you, but for your Pals too. There’s a huge variety of food in-game, but not all is created equally. Some food items provide buffs, while others simply help you to survive.
Raw Foods
From Red Berries to uncooked Mammorest Meat, technically you can eat any edible food you find in Palworld. Would I recommend a platter of Kelpsea Sushi? Probably not, but if you’re starving to death and there just so happens to be a Kelpsea nearby, it’ll keep you alive even if you don’t have a way to cook it.
Below, I’ve listed all of the different raw foods found within the game currently, starting with the most nutritious. Notice that only two of these items do anything to help with your Pals’ sanity, but if you’ve got a lot of Cotton Candy or Honey stored up, you could put some in the Feedbox in order to reduce sanity loss as your Pals work on your base.

Campfire foods
Once you’ve reached level 2 and unlocked the Campfire on the Technology Ladder, you can begin to think about cooked foods. Not all foods can be cooked on a Campfire, but we’ll get to that later.
Foods that can be cooked at the Campfire offer no buffs, but they do offer more nutrition and a small amount of much needed sanity for your Pals.

Not only does the Cooking Pot allow you to cook additional recipes, as well as those previously available to you at the Campfire, but those additional recipes also begin to offer some buffs to help both you and your Pals.
