Palworld players can seem a little obsessed with the idea of breeding the perfect Pals; hundreds of cakes resulting in hundreds of Eggs to pass down the perfect Passive Traits for a chosen purpose. For the most part, these desired Passive Traits are ones that boost mount speed.
Jetragon is, by a mile, the fastest flying mount in the game at a basic level – boasting a speed stat of 3300 with no additional Passive Traits. That isn’t exactly a secret within the Palworld community. But with Traits such as Swift or Runner, the speed increases to insane speeds.
One player, who goes by the name of PurpleStahli on Reddit, seems to have used up all of their in-game luck by completely skipping the breeding step by catching what might be the most OP Jetragon I, or a lot in the community, have ever seen. The brag has resulted in much envy in the comments, with players saying that PurpleStahli has now won the game.
What do these Passive Traits mean?
Let’s take a closer look at what these incredibly lucky Passive Traits do:
Legend
- 20% increase to Attack
- 20% increase to Defense
- 15% increase to Movement Speed
Divine Dragon
- 20% increase to Dragon Damage dealt
Runner
- 20% increase to Movement Speed
Swift
- 30% increase to Movement Speed
As these Passive Traits can stack, much to the joy of PurpleStahli and anyone else who manages to get this lucky, this specific Jetragon receives a total increase to its movement speed of 65%, resulting in a final Movement Speed stat of 5,445 without the need to even sprint.
However, one commenter points out that Palworld has a maximum movement speed (though this is not confirmed by Pocketpair), and this level of stat boost is wasted, as it takes PurpleStahli’s Jetragon over the limit.
That said, even if this Jetragon can’t be used to its full potential, this is still an incredibly lucky capture, and it wasn’t without a tough battle, with PurpleStahli going on to comment, “He kicked my butt even at 49 with a team of [level] 48 Pals. I died 3 times before I kinda cheesed the fight by spamming Poison Arrows for the DOT and then hiding in a crevice. My Pals held up fine against him but I folded like wet tissue paper if he focused on me.”
