If there’s one thing that has always caused issues in Palworld, it’s managing Pals on your base and trying to get them on a specific task. Well, according to PocketPair’s community manager, Bucky, that may soon be a thing of the past.
In a post to the official Palworld Discord Server, Bucky revealed that as part of the next update, we’ll now be able to allocate Pals to certain jobs using a new feature planned for the Monitoring Stand. The preview image mostly speaks for itself. There’s a list of up to 20 Pals and columns outlining the usual skills your critters may, or may not, be good at.
Bucky didn’t share too much information, much less when we can expect this update to arrive, but things look to be moving towards a large update some time soon, with Bucky saying that this was “a little sneak peak of another feature”, alluding to more that we have yet to see.
I can personally attest to the infuriating system, or lack of one, that’s currently in place on the base. My Pals are known to do whatever they like, whenever they like and little that I do seems to change this.
This updated system will likely put an end to having to physically pick up Pals and throw them at whichever piece of equipment we’d like them to work at, something that will be very welcomed by players. Of course, you’ll still have to manage Sanity levels by the usual means and the Monitoring Stand will still allow you to work Pals harder, or go easier on them, depending on your preference.
Along with this new base management system, we also have the new Bellanoir raid to look forward to, and this is just what we know so far. Whenever this update arrives, it seems to be full of new content and improvements. We’ll let you know as soon as we hear more.
