Dale told me that I could only write this post if I began with the following message:

“Baby, baby, baby, baby, baby, baby, baby! Ooooooh, yeah. Baby, baby!”

And there you go. Persona 3 Portable, the updated, portable-ized adaptation of Persona 3 for the PSP, has finally been announced by Atlus USA, dated for release on July 6th, 2010.

If I or fellow Persona and MegaTen fans have somehow been unable to bombard you with details regarding the game, just know this: you’re getting way more than a straight port. Persona 3 Portable comes with an all-new storyline featuring a playable female protagonist, more Social Links, part-time jobs, combat features added from Persona 4, and a fully optimized, portable-friendly interface.

Hit the official website for more details, the gallery for screenshots and box art, or check below for the animated intro. I guess I really have to up and finish Persona PSP if I’m going to dig into this one in time.
