The Persona 5 crossover lasts until January 31
It’s weird to think that Disney style, eventually, a lot of the RPGs that fueled the industry from the start will end up jammed into the same company. Right now Square Enix and Sega control a lot of them, and can continue to release the work of old defunct companies as their own giant conglomerate published project. Every once in a while, they play nice. Like this Persona 5 crossover with War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius.
Set to be hosted from December 22 until January 31, this event is exclusive to Japan, with Joker, Queen, and Violet entering the Exvius arena. With Violet, aka Sumire Yoshizawa in the picture, this is actually a Persona 5 Royal event, as Atlus continues to push more Royal lore out in the world. She’s actually a special holdout, set to debut on January 1 in the Persona 5 crossover.
As a reminder, War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius is actually an Exvius spinoff that debuted in the US in 2020 on mobile devices. It follows a Final Fantast Tactics mechanical blueprint while retaining the gacha element. You can get a feel for the Persona 5 crossover below, if you happen to be playing the Japanese edition of the game.
