Complimentary EA Access January 19-24
Electronic Arts has a subscription program — EA Access — that allows you to play from a catalog of games for a flat fee every month. EA recently launched the previously Xbox One exclusive service on PC and rebranded it as Origin Access. Sometimes it even lets you play things like Star Wars Battlefront early.
Its latest, post-holiday-season move is to try and lure new Xbox One owners into subscribing by offering “free play days” from January 19-24. Basically, having Xbox Live Gold will grant you the same benefits of being an EA Access member. That means 5 days of freely playing any or all of the 14 games in EA’s “vault.”
The last three Battlefield games, FIFA 15, the legitimately good Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare. There’s some totally decent, albeit mostly old stuff that might be worth playing for free if you hadn’t previously.
