Sony may not be top dog this generation, but the echo of its past glory still rings today as the PlayStation 2 continues to hit milestones. After ten years and eleven months on the market, the PS2 has shipped over 150 million units worldwide.
If you’re not very good with numbers, let’s just say that is kind of a lot.
As of December 2010, there have been 1,527,000,000 PS2 games sold from a library of 10,828. Sony is not done either, declaring that it expects the system to continue selling in East Europe, South East Asia, the Middle East and South America.
