DLC schedule revealed
Mario Golf: World Tour, coming May 2, comes with 10 courses and 126 holes, multiplayer modes, tournaments and more. It’s a full game. But so much more is scheduled to come as downloadable content, says Nintendo. We know that a total of 108 new holes will be available for purchase, as well as even more characters, across three packs.
The first pack, launching may second and priced at $5.99 is called the Mushroom Pack. The Flower Pack comes in May, and the Star Pack comes in June, both also priced at $5.99. Each come with two 18-hole courses and a new character. Toadette comes with with the Mushroom Pack, Nabbit with the Flower Pack, and Rosalina with the Star Pack.
If you’d like all three packs, a discounted price for the combo is set at $14.99, sold as a season’s pass. Pass holders also get a bonus Gold Mario playable character.
Trial tournaments will be made available to let players try out the downloadable courses.
I never thought I’d be reporting on the DLC schedule of a Nintendo golf game!
I’m currently golf balls deep in Mario Golf: World Tour, playing it for the upcoming Destructoid review. This game is hard!
